Welcome to Cub Scouts
We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
Who Can Participate
Cub Scouts is for all boys and girls in K-5th grades.
Kindergarteners: Lion Den
1st Graders: Tiger Den
2nd Graders: Wolf Den
3rd Graders: Bear Den
4th & 5th Graders: Webelos Dens
How It Works
Mondays are when we meet, 6:30-7:30pm at Rutland Building B
No school? No scouts. When school is on break we don’t meet
We’re a family pack so at least one parent/guardian must be present at each meeting.
Den meetings are held about 3 times per month. In these meetings, scouts do activities together with their Den that are geared toward completing fun adventures from our handbook.
Pack meetings are held about once per month, where all dens come together to celebrate achievements and/or participate in a pack event.
Pack trips are planned throughout the school year and summer, including several camping trips, hiking trips, a Nashville SC Game, Fire Department Visit, Pinewood Derby car building and race competition, and more.
